KAPTAIN SUNSHINE / Award Jacket -CHARCOAL

KAPTAIN SUNSHINE(キャプテンサンシャイン)のアワードジャケット。

An award jacket from KAPTAIN SUNSHINE.

Based on the classic American-style award jacket, this piece features a compact length paired with a generous, roomy fit through the body—allowing for the layering of thicker, substantial garments underneath. The slightly dropped shoulders lend a relaxed, casual feel. The wool ribbing, color-matched to the body, creates a harmonious contrast of textures that exudes a refined, composed elegance.

The fabric is an original, high-density, double-woven textile crafted from a blend of cotton and wool yarns. By incorporating a wide variety of yarn colors, the fabric achieves a subtle, nuanced irregularity and a rich, multi-dimensional depth of tone. The sleeves are crafted from deerskin, prized for its suppleness and distinctive pebbled texture—a material that will age beautifully over time.

Combining a satisfying sense of substance with a classic aesthetic, this jacket offers exceptional versatility, transitioning seamlessly between casual and more formal, dressier ensembles.
