MITTAN(ミッタン)のニットプルオーバー。

The design features a relaxed width balanced with a regular fit elsewhere. The proportions of this classic sweater have been carefully adjusted for an ideal silhouette. To counteract silk’s natural tendency to lose its shape, an elastic yarn has been incorporated throughout to provide resilience and recovery.

The garment is crafted using *silk noil*—a yarn spun from short silk fibers (such as those from waste cocoons) that are otherwise unsuitable for standard silk reeling. With the exception of the ribbed sections, the piece is constructed using a plain (stockinette) stitch. Silk is highly moisture-absorbent, breathable, and excellent at retaining warmth; as a protein fiber composed of amino acids similar to those found in human skin, it offers exceptional comfort.

The smooth texture ensures it layers easily under other garments, while the exquisite, specially dyed colors lend the piece a distinct and striking presence.
