barbell object / zipper bl -CHARCOAL

barbell object(バーベルオブジェクト)のジッパーシャツ。

A zippered shirt from Barbell Object.

This is an updated version of the "Zipper SB" model released by the brand for the Spring/Summer season. Positioned somewhere between a shirt and a blouson, it features both a button placket and a front zipper, with a fit specifically tailored for layering. The length is kept moderate, while the body offers a comfortable, relaxed width. The fabric’s smooth texture ensures it sits neatly when worn as an inner layer, and it provides enough warmth to serve as an alternative to a knit sweater.

The fabric is an "etamine" (a lightweight, open-weave textile) crafted from a blend of wool and cashmere. It is as soft and light as gauze, trapping air effectively to retain heat. While such fabrics are typically finished to achieve a perfectly smooth, uniform surface, this version skips the usual de-fuzzing and refining processes. Instead, it is cut, constructed, and washed in a state close to its raw, loom-fresh condition—retaining the natural, irregular texture of the fibers and the subtle movement of the yarns.
